bill burr paper tiger review

Much better than his previous special and one of the strongest introductions he has had. The level of intensity throughout the first half of the show may be the most he has shown and Bill is already known for being intense. He jokes about modern topical issues in a way where he says that people have become unreasonable. He obviously struggles to understand issues and people today (and how they are dealing with them), with giving too much power to one group of people for “what they say must always be the facts.”
I think intensity may be added in the way the audio was recorded for this show, there is an almost echo to his voice that causes it to resonate unlike any other comedy show I’ve heard. The jokes themselves may not necessarily be his strongest, and are at times topics he has mentioned before; but are delivered the most intensely.
